These are a real treat and everyone needs a treat now and then! These cookies have a fairly standard peanut butter dough with the addition of dark chocolate chips. I've been eating a lot of peanut butter with chocolate recently and loving it; so I decided to combine them into one delicious cookie recipe.
Ingredients:
275g (10oz) Peanut buttter
100g (3.5oz) Caster sugar
75g (2.5oz) Brown sugar
100ml Milk
100g (3.5oz) Plain flour
1/2 tsp Baking powder
100g (3.5oz) Dark chocolate chips
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F, Gas Mark 4). Grease and line one large baking tray.
- In a large bowl mix the peanut butter and both sugars. Stir in the milk.
- Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture.
- Add the dark chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into spheres about the same size as golf balls.
- Bake for 14 - 18 minutes or until the cookies are a light golden colour.
- Leave to cool and enjoy.
